Connected Boat Pioneer, Siren Marine, Announces the Hire of Carlton Schumacher to Drive Sales and Develop Customer Relationships, and Aaron Pape to Lead Operations

Macintosh HD:Users:Nevermore:Desktop:newsirenmarineLogo.jpgSiren Marine, a world leader in vessel monitoring and tracking technology, and a pioneer of the Connected BoatÔ revolution, announced today that Carlton Schumacher has been retained to fill the director of sales position and Aaron Pape was selected to be business operations manager.

In his new position, Schumacher is responsible for the development, management, and implementation of sales strategies for the company’s next-generation boat monitoring and tracking systems. He is an entrepreneurial sales executive with a career that spans over 19 years and includes a track record of achievement and success directing outdoor industry sales, business development and category strategies. Most recently, Schumacher was the national sales manager for Victorinox Swiss Army. Previously, Schumacher was a key account manager in the sporting goods channel for Gerber; held national and regional sales positions with Kai USA LTD.; and was the New England regional sales representative for Wellman Sports Marketing where he was responsible for sales of Johnson Outdoors Marine Electronics and over 20 other marine, fishing and outdoor brands.

Working closely with Siren Marine’s senior management team, Pape will manage the day-to-day operations of the company with a goal toward achieving optimal organizational efficiency. As business operations manager, Pape will draw from his 19 years of combined experience – with 13 years in the boating industry – in office management, administration, trade-show management, executive support, accounting, training, sales and customer service. Pape spent the bulk of his career with Navionics, the market leader in electronic charts, in various customer service, sourcing, project management and sales roles. Previously, he was an accounting supervisor for Elcom Industries and has also worked for ADP and Great-West Financial.

“With the recent acquisition of seed funding and a new manufacturing partnership in place, we are poised for rapid expansion in the coming year,” said Daniel Harper, founder and CEO, Siren Marine. “We brought Carlton and Aaron on board to launch our next generation of products and give our customers uninterrupted, first-class service. With their diverse experience and strong work ethic, we are confident they will be a huge benefit to our organization and will have a positive impact on the success of Siren Marine and customer satisfaction.”
