Title sponsor Island
Water World is firmly committed to making sure you have
a great time in Grenada, one of the safest and friendliest islands
where the sailing conditions are hard to beat. With Racing,
Racer/Cruiser, J24, Cruising and Classic Classes, there is something to
suit everyone, from the fast flying to the fun loving.
|
|
- In
the strongly contested Racing
Class, with its sporty flying machines,
experienced Trini, Bajan, Antiguan and Grenadian crews enjoy
battling it out with a selection of international challengers.
|
|
|
- Divided
into Racer
Cruiser I and Racer Cruiser II, this
most popular class attracts a range of boat designs, with the
option of flying spinnaker. Spinnaker or no spinnaker, these
teams take their sailing seriously and the top placed boats
change daily.
.
|
|
|
- The
J24
Class has its own set of multiple short races
and downwind gate system, but these fit and fighting crews still
enjoy interacting with the main fleet, especially at the
windward and offset mark.
|
|
|
- The
Cruising
Class is more relaxed, but although some of their
races are slightly shorter and not as numerous, the competition
is still lively.
|
|
|
- The
Classic
Class boats enjoy fewer but longer courses,
giving these demanding boats with their big crews and skillful
skippers a chance to stretch their wings and show the rest of
the fleet a thing or two.
