SunWare’s
new textile framed TX-series solar modules
If
you think you have no space on board for solar panels then take a look at
SunWare‘s innovative new way to snap-on panels.
You
can now use the bimini hood area as a way of generating power to run on board
appliances more reliably. Typically a 100W solar panel from SunWare, the new
textile TX-22052 would be enough to keep the refrigerator running. SunWare has
been making marine solar panels for over 25 years and this is their latest way
of finding a shared space on board that can be used for charging the batteries,
quietly and efficiently.
As
with all SunWare products, high grade materials have been selected to achieve a
durable but lightweight folding solar panel that is easy to transport and
install. Tenax fasteners come as standard and simply screw onto the existing
fabric fixings so that the solar panels can be snapped into place and removed
quickly.
A
very useful feature is that each panel works independently of the other and
thus should one be shaded the other continues to operate. SunWare solar panels
are made in Germany and the new TX textile range is offered in multiple
“leaves” of 50W up to 200W. You can find out more at www.sunware.de or from
their UK distributor www.marlec.co.uk
