Cruising Association of Ireland AGM

The Cruising Assocation AGM will be held on Saturday 28th February, with a pre-season Dinner on the MV Cill Airne on Quay 16, North Wall Quay, Dublin. All cruising sailors (Sail & Motor) are welcome , with the AGM being reserved for fully paid members being held on board beforehand. Membership at only €30 can be renewed online, or by post - instructions and membership forms online in the membership menu on the site. Even if you are not a member, please do consider bringing a few cruising friends along to the Dinner and enjoy the craic. Please register early for the Dinner - we are competing for space on board, so it's important that we get bookings early so we can reserve space.

Upcoming Events on events Calendar

The events Calendar is populated with cruising-related events over the next few months. This can be found online on the Calendar page. The cruising talks & events listed are open to all - contact the relevant yacht club and/or individuals for bookings.

The Cruising Association of Ireland East Coast Calendar of events are now also published.  We will follow with details of events in other sections shortly. The season begins with the AGM & pre-season Dinner on 28th February on board the MV CillAirne, and the Spring Rally on the 9th May in Greystones. The summer cruise this year starts on 20th June - the day after the last of the leaving Certificate exams. Having been north to Derry last year, the plan is to go south this year - with a leisurely cruise in the Cork & Kinsale area, with West Cork on the doorstep for those who have the time to enjoy it. We will email about the cruise again and open a registration page, but for now put it in your diary if you are interested. We hope to plan another weekend in August, and of course the end of season Liffey Cruise in September.
